Meet Morty
Meet Monty, he's around 12 pounds, and just about 1.5 years old, he's small guy with a big personality, enhanced by his adorable under-bite. Morty is young and will do well in a home that has time to play with him and take him for walks and take him to positive reinforcement classes. He will in turn reward them with kisses and lots of snuggles. Morty is also quick to befriend dogs around his size and engage in active play-wrestling and playing tug are his go-to skills. He is fine in a home with a cat, but he will want to try and play with them. Morty would do well with another playful dog, but also as an only dog as long as there is lots of walkies and mentally stimulating playtimes. He loves to play tug too! Morty does well in the car and is a good walker on leash, he does like to greet humans he sees on his walks though a he’s just a friendly kinda guy. Morty is housetrained, and does well on his own when you go out too. If there are kids, they should be old enough to understand how to interact with a young dog that still likes to play chew on fingers. He likes car rides too! Morty is a love bug waiting to find his new family! Underdogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee is $390. He is being fostered in SE Portland. You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog . You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location or at your home. Dogs are not held for applicants or shipped outside of the Portland metro area. Home checks are also part of the process and will be conducted virtually. Adoption Process
All adoptions require a contract, our fees vary on the situation. We complete home inspections prior to adoption and follow up with adopters after the adoption for assistance if needed.
