Meet Oreo

This friendly pup is the sweetest lil’ cookie — meet Oreo! She will steal your heart and make you laugh with her gentle personality.   Meet this adorable, 8 pound, 1.5-year-old scruffy poodle/terrier companion pup ready for adoption.  At first, Oreo can be shy,  but once she feels comfortable and confident in her home, she comes out of her shell and will shower you with puppy kisses and attention. After playtime, she loves a good sofa snuggle and movie nights. She’s energetic but also loves her downtime with her favorite people. Oreo is a tiny champ who’s quickly learning to find her confidence on quiet walks. She’s discovering every day how fun it is to meet other dogs and people, but crowds and busy streets are not her thing just yet. Each day she becomes more confident. She’s been really quick at potty-training and is mostly housebroken. She’s eager to learn and thrives with some structure. She’s a young, active pup who benefits from regular exercise, even if it’s running around in a fenced backyard. She LOVES to play fetch and always returns the ball to you! She's a champ on leash too! We are working on crate training and she has a bit of separation anxiety, so patience and guidance will be important. She’d do great in a home with another small dog to learn from, play with, and help her continue to grow into the confident little pup she is! Oreo would do well with another confident, playful dog in the home.  She would do best with routine, and a calm home with a yard to run and play. The neighborhood where she will walk should be easy, without the stress of busy city traffic.  Underdogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee is $390.  Oreo is being fostered in the Scappoose, OR area. You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at  https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog. You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location and dogs are not held for applicants or shipped outside of the Portland metro area. Home checks are also part of the process and may be conducted virtually. Adoption Process
All adoptions require a contract, our fees vary on the situation. We complete home inspections prior to adoption and follow up with adopters after the adoption for assistance if needed.
