Pet Adoption League of Gem County

We are a non-profit animal shelter ran by animal loving volunteers. We are a no kill shelter. We spay and neuter all our pets before adopting out. Our goal here is to return lost pets to their owners, find homes for those who have none, and promote compassionate treatment of animals everywhere.

Meet Lucy

Meet Lucy Personality: Lucy is a delightful older Pit Bull Terrier with a heart of gold. She exudes warmth and friendliness. Her gentle demeanor and loving nature make her an instant favorite among shelter staff and volunteers. Lucy thrives on human companionship and enjoys spending quality time with people. Ideal Home: Lucy is seeking a loving forever home where she can bask in the affection of her new family. She would thrive in a calm and nurturing environment where she can receive the attention and care she deserves. Lucy's easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion for individuals or families seeking a loyal and devoted furry friend. Care and Needs: Being an older dog, Lucy may require a bit of extra care and attention, including regular veterinary check-ups and a comfortable living space where she can relax and unwind.  Adoption/Foster: If you're interested in welcoming this pup into your home, please contact PAL to arrange a meet-and-greet for adoption or discuss fostering options. If you would like to fill out the form for adopting or fostering, please complete the adoption form here (for adoption) or the foster application here (for fostering). Volunteer Opportunities: PAL is always looking for individuals eager to lend a helping hand as a volunteer. Whether you can spare a couple of hours a week or more, there are many opportunities available to suit your schedule. If you're interested in becoming a volunteer, please submit an application here.  Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of animals in need.

Adoption Process
We have a 1 page adoption form. We do home visits on all of our dogs. Our adoption fee is $80.00 for dogs and $50.00 for cats. That includes spay/neuter and vaccines.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
