High Plateau Humane Society

HPHS was founded in 1987 and we rescue about 120 dogs and 250 cats per year. We are an all-volunteer organization and run a thrift store, called Second Chance Thrift, from which we adopt out animals and sell our low-cost spay and neuter certificates. We have a number volunteers, including a board of five. We do this because we have a passion to rescue orphaned and homeless animals and want to make life better for the animals in our county.

Meet COURTESY POSTING: Keira

COURTESY POSTING FOR DOG IN EUGENE, OR:  Keira is a gorgeous but skittish 65lb 4 year old female that requires a 7 foot fence to keep her from adventuring. She enjoys playing with other well behaved confident large dogs of both sexes. Keira has not been trusted around small dogs or cats or kids. Keira needs an owner who is experienced with her breed mix. Keira is spayed, dewormed, up to date on shots. If you are interested in this beautiful girl please fill out an application for her at Cruxrock.com/pet-adoptions and the Program Manager, Marra, will get back to you to discuss her in greater detail. PLEASE NOTE:  This is a Courtesy Listing for Crux Pet Adoptions in Eugene, OR. This dog is not with the High Plateau Humane Society.

Adoption Process
When someone releases an animal to HPHS, we require a signed release form. We then have the animal vaccinated and spayed or neutered before offering it for adoption. Adoption fees vary and are listed with each animal.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
