Meet Riley

Riley entered the Shelter so matted she had to be completely shaved down to the skin. Gone like the matted hair that was removed from her, so is the life that led to her ending up in the Shelter system. It is never too late for a new beginning. We are here to help make sure little 7 year old Riley finds her best new life.  From Riley’s foster, “She’s a really sweet girl. She is super soft in both fur and disposition. She is friendly with other dogs and people, but can take a second to warm up - treats help! She’s mellow but gets bursts of energy and loves to play fetch.” Riley would do equally in a home with or without another dog. Toys are a must though, especially balls. No idea about cats. Busy city living can be a bit too overwhelming for her and she does require a nice quiet private place for you to take her out to do her business in. Also, though she’s fine in the car, leash walks are not her favorite, but once comfortable in an area she will go for short ones.   Riley is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on preventatives. She is being fostered in SE Portland. Her adoption fee is $380 Interested in seeing about a meet with this precious girl? Adoption Process
All adoptions require a contract, our fees vary on the situation. We complete home inspections prior to adoption and follow up with adopters after the adoption for assistance if needed.
