Underdogs Rock! Rescue

We are a small Portland, Oregon based 501c3 organization rescuing dogs from the over crowded shelters in Southern California, Alabama, and Hawaii. We foster the dogs until they are healthy and help them find their forever homes! Contact us at [email protected] work directly with Rescue Groups in Southern California to rescue dogs who are on their last days in the high-kill shelters. Because our dogs are in Foster Homes we get to know the dogs personalities and needs. As we know the dogs well and how they do in a home environment, we do a great job in matching families with the right dog, and the right family for the dog!

Meet Copper (bonded with Charlie)

Hi There!  My name is Copper and I'm a 7 years young, 25 pound Pug/Terrier mix. I'm bonded with Charlie and we are looking for a wonderful home with some folks who like to have some fun!  I am an active guy, maybe a bit more of an adventurist than Charlie as I love paddle boarding and riding on quads!  We both love the outdoors, and going on walks.  Charlie is better on leash than I am, but Underdog has that handled and you get a session with a trainer on how to help me be a better walker.  That said, I'm not horrible on leash, I just could use a bit of refinement.  I love to play chase, while Charlie prefers to play fetch. I can do that to but I love a good game of chase! I know I'm a bigger dog at 25 pounds but I do consider your lap my domain. :)  Charlie & I are house trained, we don't have separation anxiety cause we know you will come home and we like to lounge while you are away.  We are crate trained too, but you probably won't need them for training issues, but we like to lounge in our crates once in awhile.  I like to sleep under the covers and when I get too warm I will come out and sleep near you.  Are you ready to bring a lot of joy into your life? Then we are the pups for you!   Not sure how we would do around very small kiddos - but older kids who like to play would be our jam!  We would thrive with active seniors too!  We come to you with all our leashes, harnesses, toys, beds, crates & outdoor gear like lifejackets too! Every Underdog has been spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and is up to date on vaccinations. All dogs have had a recent visit to the vet as well.  Our Adoption fee is two for one at $280 for both of us for the regular folks and for our Senior for Senior Program double your love for $140! We offer a 10% discount for seniors, veterans and students. All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have an adoption application, we check references and visit your home as part of our adoption process.   To fill out our Adoption Application please visit our website: www.underdogsrock.org/adoption-application/ To Learn more about Underdogs Rock!
