Rescue Ranch

We are a small non-profit, no kill rescue for dogs. we operate on donations only, volunteers and proceeds from our boarding facility. We have had non-profit status since 2000 and opened a new facility in 2008. We have many partnerships with rescues and organizations outside the county and CA. AND we do it for the dogs!

Meet Maverick

Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.   Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All puppies are also microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch.   We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required), and a portion of the cost will be refunded.

Adoption Process
Application, Home check (can be via photos and google earth if more than 50 miles). Adoption donation $195.00 for adults, $295.00 for puppies. Includes all vaccinations, microchip, health check and spay/neuter. Discounts for Seniors, Senior dogs, military and special needs
