Meet Swanson

Hi there, let me introduce myself. My name is Swanson, I am a 7yr old mix breed and a very loyal companion. I love people and I want to go where you go!  I can be a little rambunctious at times so I do need constant boundaries. I would love to have my own yard but if I don’t have that, then I will need daily walks to properly express my energy. I do really great on a leash. I have been through regular obedience training as well as a month long boarding school training that went very well. My human has given me so many wonderful things and tools to learn and work with. Sadly my human is unable to give me the kind of time that she feels I need/should have to continue to be the happy healthy dog she has grown me to be soeste far. I just want to be with my human A LOT !  Older children (17 and up) are ok by me.  If you work from home or can come for lunch and spend some time with me I will not disappoint. I’m very loving, playful, I like to cuddle and I would love the chance to be your best friend. I am sharing my home with 2 cats, that I tolerate. But cats are probably not a good idea for my new home. I am good with some other dogs that I have been slowly introduced to. I currently live with an older small dog that I get along just fine with.  I am seeking a home that I would be the only dog.  I would love to be able to meet you sometime and show you what a cool guy I am.
