Saving Whiskers and Tails

We are a group of volunteers that realized the need for a rescue in our area for animals that are considered "last chance." We work with neglected, abused, starved, dumped, abandoned, injured animals. We have rehabed and adopted 2 Great Danes that were days from death because of starvation, a dog that was attacked by Coyotes, 2 gun shot victims, a dog that was purposely set on fire (we couldn't save her but we provided the vetting services for the family). We have rescued, at last count, over 180 dogs and cats that have been dumped and abandoned including several mothers and litters that we work to get into rescues out of state.

Meet Clyde

Bonnie is getting the spotlight until we get our picture taken together, but that doesn't mean she's better, cuter, or smarter than me. Okay, maybe she's a little smarter but definitely not cuter! Hi, I'm Clyde. As usual, she's already blabbed all the good stuff. My story is the same stuff except I'm a boy. I'm about 8 months old, full of puppy. We like running and chasing around our foster yard. My favorite thing in the whole world (except my own family) is a peanut butter filled chewbone...ohboy! I'm a little chunkier and lower to the ground than Bonnie but we weigh about the same. Let's call it 38 lbs. I am neutered, up to date on all my shots, passed the healthy baby test at the vet. It will take me less than a minute to pack my bags and hope in your car. You can meet me by putting my name right here: https://www.savingwhiskersandtails.org/forms/form... ~Clyde

Adoption Process
We require the family meets the pets for local adoptions and introduces the pet to their family and other family pets. There is an adoption application. We check references, including vet references. The adoption fee is only our vetting fee and any transportation costs that may be incurred.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
