Meet Blue

Sweet Blue has a light brow, a ‘close to red’ coat with blends of brindle and a mix of white from her dad. Her coat has light fades of brindle throughout if you look closely, female. She was the first born, and yelled to let us know she was cold and needed warmth when her young mom didn’t act quickly enough following her first delivery. It was a moment that would define Blue the rest of her life. She grew up with a rescue cat and many dogs of all ages. I would trust her with all dogs and cats. She has been taught to jump up and be caught, then can get on the back of your neck and walk around calmly, she loves this position. We are working on walking between legs bag and forth, she will also walk on leash, and is treadmill trained (but without the right leader will refuse the treadmill), can sit, & lay down. She loves to love. So much that she is my favorite pet. She does talk to you, she doesn't really bark she screams lol, it is quite hilarious. She wants to be right next to you. When snuggling wants to lay her body on your face and be held. At the same time, she loves walks, loves to run and bring the ball back to you. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Blue is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.

Adoption Process
An adoption application and home visit are required for adoption. Adoption fees are $200 for dogs and $250 for puppies.
