DFW Rescue Me is a rescue group whose primary goal is save dogs from the local city shelters from euthanasia and adopting them to the public. We spay / neuter these dogs as well as give them all necessary medical care. We also educate the public about responsible pet ownership.

Meet Dixie GDP

Dixie is a Boxer/Lab mix, about 6 years old and 70 lbs. She's good natured, loves to play and be petted. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Dixie is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.

Adoption Process
An adoption application and home visit are required for adoption. Adoption fees are $200 for dogs and $250 for puppies.
