PEANUT

THE ROAD HOME ANIMAL PROJECT

TRHAP is 100% volunteer and 100% foster based 501c3. We formed in 2014 to help animals in all forms of need. We help private owners who cannot keep their animals, pull dogs from high kill shelters. We take animals that have been brought into a vet for illness/injury and if the owner cannot afford the treatment and want them euthanized, our vet offers them an alternative to reach out to us to give the dog a chance at recovery and finding it the best home. We take animals to Ohio State Veterinary Hospital anytime our vet recommends for advanced diagnostics, care or treatment.

Meet PEANUT

Peanut, born 8/3/23, is a Heeler mix pup. This sweet boy came to us from our local shelter as they are a bit overcrowded and puppies are tough to care for in the shelter environment. In his foster home, Peanut will be working on house training, crate training and basic puppy obedience. He is young, so he seems to do well with just about everyone. Being that his breed notoriously loves to play, an active home with a fenced in yard would be ideal! He does well with other dogs and likes to be with his people. He is a very sweet pup & we are excited for his next steps! Peanut's adoption fee is $450.00 which includes his neuter, vaccines (including DHLPPC, Kennel Cough, Lyme disease, Rabies), heartworm/lyme testing (negative), and Microchipping with lifetime registration. If you want to meet Peanut with hopes to make him part of your family, be sure to FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide for medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries.*Note: Ideally, ALL members of the family (canine and human alike) should be present for any meet and greet unless otherwise specified/discussed.Please remember that we are a board of entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion. So, be patient with us and check out our Facebook page for more information and photo updates: facebook.com/trhap2014You can visit our website at theroadhomeanimalproject.org
