Meet Lou - PENDING ADOPTION

Say hello to Lou! This one-year-old, 18-pound Schnauzer mix is a whirlwind of energy who also moonlights as a cuddle champion. He’s got a bit of a bossy streak when it comes to his doggy buddies and has a bark that could rival a symphony. Lou's not the best fit for tiny tots, and when it comes to cats, well, that's still a puzzle waiting to be solved! Lou’s adoption fee is $350. All Paws and Prayers animals are up to date on vaccinations (age appropriate) and are given monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee also includes spay / neuter and microchipping. Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only.  Resident pets of all applicants must have had routine veterinary care, be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines per the recommendations of your vet, current on heartworm tests and prevention (dogs only). We will verify these records; giving your veterinarian permission to speak with us will help expedite the processing of your application.  Should your pet have a medical issue that may prohibit any of these, please note that on your application and we will also verify this with your veterinarian. Inquiries submitted through Petfinder or other third-party websites do not submit as applications in our database.

Adoption Process
Adoption fees range from $150-$350. Non-negotiable. An applications at www.pawsandprayers.org must be filled out and approved before a meet and greet can be set up.
