Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals.We have a monthly pet pantry, provide temporary fostering for emergency situations, have a Senior pets for Seniors program, and more.

Meet Nash! Nash is a 10-week-old collie/pitbull mix with the perfect balance of playfulness and calm. Currently weighing 16 pounds, he’s expected to grow into a medium-sized dog.Nash loves spending time outside playing with his brothers and lounging in the grass. He’s got that classic puppy energy when it’s time to play, followed by the best naps when it’s time to rest. He’s a happy, easygoing pup who enjoys the best of both worlds.Nash is doing well with crate training and housebreaking, and while he’s still young and learning, he’s off to a great start. He sleeps through the night in his crate without accidents and keeps it clean during the day when you’re away. He’s eager to please, loves being close to his people, and would thrive in a home with dogs, cats, or kids—he gets along with everyone!Nash is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and will be ready to go home on or after May 11th.
