LEVI

THE ROAD HOME ANIMAL PROJECT

TRHAP is 100% volunteer and 100% foster based 501c3. We formed in 2014 to help animals in all forms of need. We help private owners who cannot keep their animals, pull dogs from high kill shelters. We take animals that have been brought into a vet for illness/injury and if the owner cannot afford the treatment and want them euthanized, our vet offers them an alternative to reach out to us to give the dog a chance at recovery and finding it the best home. We take animals to Ohio State Veterinary Hospital anytime our vet recommends for advanced diagnostics, care or treatment.

Meet LEVI

Levi is a 10lb male, min pin, chihuahua/poodle mix pup who was born 1/6/25. This handsome dude came to us as an owner surrender from an oops litter. He is still a very young puppy who is working on the puppy basics like house training, crate training, leash walking and general obedience. Being so young, he does well with other dogs, dog educated children and cats. But socialization will be key in his forever home! We will be there to help along the way as needed! To meet Levi please FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.htmlLevi's adoption fee is $450, which includes his deworming, neuter (at our vets), vaccines (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies), basic obedience training and microchip with lifetime registration.*Note: please DO NOT apply if you are unsure about adopting a puppy. Yes, they are adorable and fun, but they also require a lot of work and full commitment by all family members. If the pup is too young to be altered and is adopted out of area, the fee will be reduced and the new home will be responsible for neutering per the new vets recommendations & proof provided to our rescue.Thank you! ***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide for medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries.Apply at https://theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form/

Adoption Process
Adoption fee includes her spay/neuter when age appropriate at our vet, microchipping, vaccinations (DhlppC, Lyme, Bordetella, rabies) and heartworm/lyme testing of dog over 6 months of age. The first step is to apply because we are foster based. When approved we contact applicant to arrange to meet the dog to make sure it is a good fit for the family.
