Meet Baron

Baron is a handsome, large collie with beautiful markings and an easy-going nature. He’s eager to please and already understands and follows commands like “no” and “come.” Baron gets along well with other dogs, though since people are his favorite, he might be a little jealous at first if another pup is getting the spotlight. He’d also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home. He loves to cuddle and be close, often placing a paw on you as if to say, “Hey, I think it’s time, and I’m sure I’m due, for some extra attention!” He enjoys toys, is playful and affectionate, and very biddable—always looking to please. Baron is friendly when guests come to the door. While he hasn’t had any cat encounters in his foster home, he has lived with cats in his past. He does well on a leash and happily leaps into the car when time to go for a ride or a trip to the vet. He hasn’t been around children yet and hasn’t needed to be crated. Baron has a true collie soul and is ready to be a stalwart friend to his forever family.
