Meet Arista - ARR

Arista’s adoption donation is $550 and she is being fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.  She has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies, distemper/parvo, bordetella, tested negative for heartworm and started on prevention as well as flea prevention. We would prefer a home with a fenced yard for Arista as she loves to play in the yard. Arista came into the rescue from the puppy mill and is loving her new freedom. She has made great progress in rescue and has learned a lot in her foster home. Her favorite spot is just by any human but she also loves anything for a puppy such as chewing on chew toys, chasing leaves, rolling on the ground and running around. Arista would benefit from a patient home that is willing to continue her progress and continue to teach her house rules and skills. She is all puppy and requires an active home where she can get all the attention and love a puppy needs to succeed. Arista does well with housetraining if kept on a schedule and is leash, but she is a puppy and needs a patient and understanding home to help her learn all she needs to learn. She does well on crate training. She does well with other dogs after a proper introduction and older/considerate children. 

Adoption Process
Applicant submits an online (or paper) application. We thoroughly check references including personal, vet, and groomer--landlord if applicable. Once references check out, we then conduct a home visit to ensure home and family would best suit the dog. We do not adopt on a first come, first served basis--we go with the home that is the best fit for the dog.
