Meet Benny - ARR

Benny’s adoption donation is $550 and he is being fostered in Central Ohio.  He has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza and Bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on prevention, as well as flea prevention. Benny would do well with a companion dog of similar energy (he does well with larger dogs) or an active home that will engage him and work to continue his progress. Benny came into rescue from a puppy mill/commercial breeder. He learns quickly and has made a lot of progress in rescue. Benny is walking on a leash and learning what it's like to be a dog by going to daycare. He does well on housetraining if kept on a schedule. Benny will need an active home to continue his progress and help him live his best life. He is an active little guy that has that puppy energy.   

Adoption Process
Applicant submits an online (or paper) application. We thoroughly check references including personal, vet, and groomer--landlord if applicable. Once references check out, we then conduct a home visit to ensure home and family would best suit the dog. We do not adopt on a first come, first served basis--we go with the home that is the best fit for the dog.
