Meet Buddy — a 5-year-old, 16-pound typical Chihuahua mix bursting with personality, loyalty, and love. Small in size but big on heart, Buddy takes his role as your loyal protector very seriously. If the other dogs get a little too rambunctious around you, don’t be surprised if Buddy lets out a little growl to remind everyone who’s boss. It’s all part of his quirky charm. Buddy lives for his monthly trip to the groomer—affectionately referred to as “the beauty shop.” He gets so excited, he practically leaps from your arms the moment you arrive. He knows he’s cute, and he’s proud of it! When he’s not on neighborhood watch or enjoying a spa day, Buddy is content chewing on a hard toy or gnawing on a bone. He’s housebroken but may occasionally use the pee pad that’s down for one of his smaller housemates. He’s still learning the ropes with leash training and will need continued support in that area. Buddy is a happy, easygoing guy who thrives in a calm home where he feels secure, loved, and part of the daily rhythm. He may be tiny, but his heart—and his devotion—are enormous. Adoption is $300 which includes his neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. To fill out an application for this animal or a general application click HERE.
