RYLIE is an adorable fluffy puppy looking for a home. She's currently around 18 weeks old and 22 pounds and will probably be around 40 pounds when fully grown. She appears to be an Australian Shepherd mix. She behaves like an Aussie with herding behaviors and needs a home with a physically fenced yard and another playful dog. She will need plenty of exercise. Rylie lives to play and loves attention from humans. We prefer not to send herding dogs to homes with small children who may not appreciate being herded. Puppies require training to become a well behaved family member. If you would like to meet Rylie, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Rylie at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
