Meet Carmen & Tootsie

Meet Carmen & Tootsie! These sweet girls came in to rescue when their owner could no longer care for them. They were separated for a bit while Carmen went through our prison training program. Once they got back together, we quickly realized how much these pups love each other! We feel it is in their best interest to be adopted as a pair. Carmen is 2 years old and recently completed the PUPP program! She is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash and is the sweetest girl! She can be shy in new situations, but having Tootsie around helps her be more confident. She loves to play and equally loves to chill out and cuddle.  Tootsie is 6 years old. Much like Carmen, it is hard to find a sweeter pup! She has the best wiggle and loves affection. Unfortunately for this girl, she has been recently diagnosed with a grade 3 heart murmur and an enlarged heart. She is not symptomatic, and it does not hinder her at all! Her recent bloodwork also came back good. She is currently on 2 medications and will need closely monitored to watch for any advancing heart disease.  They truly are 2 of the best girls around! Both Carmen and Tootsie are crate trained, potty trained, do well on a leash, friendly with everyone they have met (note: neither of them have lived with small children so we cannot say for sure how they would do), and dog & cat friendly. Even though they love each other very much, they will interact with other dogs when around them! We do not think the would have any issues living with other pups. Carmen & Tootsie are both spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, under 20 pounds and heartworm negative.
