Meet Peachy 2023

Meet PEACHY, a sweet, petite 3 year old 9 pound bundle of cuteness. We were told she's a Yorkie/Bichon mix, but she sure looks like she has some Maltese in the mix. Whatever the breed mix, she's a sweet, adorable girl. She's good with other dogs and ignores cats. Peachy's dad abandoned her with family, who in turn abandoned her with a groomer, so we agreed to help her find a new home where she will be loved furever. Peachy walks well on a leash and is housebroken. She will require regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling good. If you would like to meet little Peachy, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. Peachy WILL NOT be attending our Saturday adoption event. Adorable little lap dogs like Peachy find homes very quickly. If you're interested PLEASE FILL OUT THE APPLICATION. Emails, inquiries, phone calls etc make extra work for our volunteers, and our response is always "submit an application". We do not transport dogs to adopters. Commenting "interested" and "how much" on this post will not get you this dog. You can find our adoption fees on our website along with the application. We don't charge higher fees for highly desirable dogs, our fees are solely based on the dog's age. Please please follow directions on this one and don't overwhelm us with communication. An application will do nicely All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.

Adoption Process
We offer Foster To Adopt for dogs adoptions. You must complete the application, be approved and pay a $100 deposit ($150 puppies). You can then take the dog home for a trial visit of up to one week This will help you determine if you and the dog are the right match. If yes, then you can finalize the adoption. If no, then you return the dog to us and you are welcome to try a different dog. complete the necessary paperwork and pay a $100 deposit for adult dogs and $150 for puppies (cash, check or credit card). This fee is non-refundable, and will be applied to the adoption fee if you decide to finalize the adoption. The adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.
