Ohio Basset Hound Rescue. Inc

I started OBHR over 17 yrs ago. Love the breed. We have rescued over 2000 dogs. We have no age limit, we take seniors, dogs with medicals problems, pregnant dogs. I do it because I want to make sure these dogs are taken care of.

Meet Betty

Poor Betty Boop has had sooo many shares but still no interest! This poor girl has had it so rough before we got her. She had pneumonia and a severe infection from over breeding. She is healthy and good to go now! She is 5 years old, housebroken, loves toys and snuggling. Her only downfall is she is dog particular. She is currently in a home with other dogs but when her foster went on vacation it took her the whole week to settle down in her other foster home. She may be best as an only dog but we will make exceptions for someone with hound experience who is COMMITTED to working with her and giving her time. She is located in the Dayton area and her adoption fee is $250. Please apply at ohiobassetrescue.com and email [email protected] is already approved in the last 6mo.

Adoption Process
Puppies $250 1yr to 8 $200 8yrs and older $100 Must fill out an application, be approved and sign a adoption agreement. We always take the dog back for any reason. Must have a fenced yard, vetting must be good, no kids under 5 yrs old.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
