Hartman's Hounds

We live in a town with a kill shelter and pull animals from there and place in foster homes. We also work with other local rescues when they get full and we have a foster available. We do it because we are their voice and safety net.

Meet PEANUT

Meet Peanut. I was originally trying to find him a home with Cashew but can’t seem to. He is a wonderful friendly dog. Peanut is fully vetted, neutered and all vaccines. His personality is top notch so more than likely would be good with everyone. He is crate trained. May be house trained but hard to tell for sure since he is in a boarding kennel. He does walk well on a leash and would need a daily walk.  Peanut will need a fenced yard due to his breed. He’s a little guy at only 21 pounds and he is just barely over a year old. He looks to be maybe Beagle/Black and Tan Coonhound mix. His adoption fee is $175. If interested in Peanut, please email [email protected].

Adoption Process
Application, references from vets and personal, home visit Fees according to age..older animals generally less cost. Offer 2 wk trial, 1/2 fee pd up front..after trial, balance of fee or refund of deposit if not work out.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
