Update from Wags foster: Here's an update on wags... He does know his name he's just hard of hearing. He's a big love and follows me everywhere. He is great with other dogs and shows no food aggression. (We are still feeding mostly canned food but I've started soaking our dry food and mixing it in) He loves the kids and my husband. Has not had even 1 potty in the house. He's a pro at the dog door! He does seem to have some separation anxiety. When we leave he will bark. I tried to crate him and it wasn't good. He bent the crate door and his mouth was a little bloody. So we will not crate him again without getting him more comfortable with it. The crate door remains open at all times and treats are thrown in for him. He will get into the garbage/recycle if it is left out. He is silly and playful but loves a good nap as well. He's still so itchy but I'm hoping with better diet his skin will improve and he'll get better. Wags came to OBHR from a local shelter who took in about 50 dogs and other animals from a hoarding situation. He is a senior boy, a little hard to determine his age because his teeth are so ground down, but he is at the very least 10 years old. He is just a sweet old man that needs a retirement home for his last few years of life and somebody to treat him like he is a beloved pet. Wags has gotten the all clear from our vet including a dental and several teeth pulled, neuter, heartworm check and up-to-date on all shots! Now he just needs a bed of his own and a family of his own! Adoption Process
Puppies $250 1yr to 8 $200 8yrs and older $100 Must fill out an application, be approved and sign a adoption agreement. We always take the dog back for any reason. Must have a fenced yard, vetting must be good, no kids under 5 yrs old.
