Meet Wyatt 2025

WYATT is a gorgeous yorkiepoo-type mixed breed puppy looking for a home. He's about 10 months old and fully grown at 18 pounds. He is fun, playful and drop dead gorgeous. He's great with other dogs and should be fine with kitties. He loves toys, chewies, treats and playtime. Wyatt has never known life as an only canine and needs a home with another playful dog. Wyatt came to the rescue with his two siblings (River and Sparkles) and he was a matted mess. He's freshly groomed but had to be shaved closely to get rid of the mats and make him more comfortable. If you scroll through his photos you can see what his curly coat looked like when (over) grown. He will require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling wonderful. Wyatt is new to the rescue but he appears to be housebroken and is well-behaved in his crate. If you'd like to meet Wyatt, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Wyatt at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate, if he's still available. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.

Adoption Process
We offer Foster To Adopt for dogs adoptions. You must complete the application, be approved and pay a $100 deposit ($150 puppies). You can then take the dog home for a trial visit of up to one week This will help you determine if you and the dog are the right match. If yes, then you can finalize the adoption. If no, then you return the dog to us and you are welcome to try a different dog. complete the necessary paperwork and pay a $100 deposit for adult dogs and $150 for puppies (cash, check or credit card). This fee is non-refundable, and will be applied to the adoption fee if you decide to finalize the adoption. The adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.
