Meet Milo - OS

Milo’s adoption donation is $600 and he is being fostered in Central Ohio.  He has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza and Bordetella vaccines, started on heart prevention, as well as flea/tick prevention.  Milo would be best in a home with a companion dog of similar size/energy. Meet Milo – The Sweetest Little Explorer! Say hello to Milo, a bundle of joy with a heart full of love and a spirit that lights up every room! This adorable little pup may be blind, but don’t let that fool you—he’s confident, playful, and ready to take on the world with you by his side. Milo is the definition of a social butterfly—he adores other dogs, gets along great with cats, and has been sweet and gentle with kids over 8. His favorite things in life? Chew toys, romping around at doggy daycare, going for walks, and curling up for a good snuggle with his humans and furry friends. His foster sibling, Stevie, is his cuddle buddy, and he’d love a home with a canine friend to share adventures (and naps)! He has a mid-to-high energy level and would thrive in a home that understands his special needs and celebrates his abilities. While a fenced yard would be a bonus, it’s not required—he just needs a safe space and a loving hand to guide him. Milo is still working on his house training (he spins in fast circles when he needs to go out), and he's making great progress! He’s not a fan of having his face hair brushed, but with all the love he gives, that’s a small price to pay for such a delightful companion. His eating routine is simple—breakfast at 7 am, dinner at 7 pm, and of course, some treats in between to keep that tail wagging! Milo is looking for a forever family who will embrace his unique perspective and help him navigate life with patience, care, and lots of cuddles. Adoption Process
Applicant submits an online (or paper) application. We thoroughly check references including personal, vet, and groomer--landlord if applicable. Once references check out, we then conduct a home visit to ensure home and family would best suit the dog. We do not adopt on a first come, first served basis--we go with the home that is the best fit for the dog.
