Meet River OS

River's adoption donation is $550 and she is being fostered in Central Ohio. She has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms, started on prevention as well as flea prevention.  She has also had a dental cleaning as well. River would be very adaptable to many different situations and scenarios. She loves cats, and dogs, big and small. She loves kids, and while she is timid at first with men, she comes around very quickly. She loves her toys, and is eager to learn. She knows how to sit, and how to lie down, and how to dance for treats. While she does like to play, she is very content to just sit on your lap all day. She would likely prefer a companion pet to keep her company while you're away.  Does well on housetraining if kept on a schedule. She does have an occasional accident, but usually only when left alone for longer than a couple hours.

Adoption Process
Applicant submits an online (or paper) application. We thoroughly check references including personal, vet, and groomer--landlord if applicable. Once references check out, we then conduct a home visit to ensure home and family would best suit the dog. We do not adopt on a first come, first served basis--we go with the home that is the best fit for the dog.
