Meet Jasper

Meet the adorable Jasper! Jasper is about 37 pounds of love and he looks like a beagle with some basset hound sprinkled in! He has the absolute best disposition! Jasper is a happy, relaxed guy who goes with the flow! He has that happy beagle tail that will wag every time you walk by! He loves to spend his day sniffing around the yard but can be bribed to come inside for some snuggles and a treat! Jasper is about 7 to 8 years old and came to OBHR from a local shelter who picked him up as a stray so we don’t know his background. It appears he will be OK with other dogs. He has not been tested around cats. We would prefer him to go to a home with a fenced in yard but it is not required. Jasper was a hot mess before he came to us, and had the most horrible teeth from whatever life he had before the shelter. We did a dental and he actually lost 25 teeth! So for a while some canned food will need to be in his future. If you are interested in Jasper or any of our other dogs you must first visit our website and fill out the online application. Once it is submitted one of our volunteers will reach out to you. Once you are approved they will give you a password and you can send us an email with that password! Adoption Process
Puppies $250 1yr to 8 $200 8yrs and older $100 Must fill out an application, be approved and sign a adoption agreement. We always take the dog back for any reason. Must have a fenced yard, vetting must be good, no kids under 5 yrs old.
