Dogs posted are currently up for adoption unless otherwise noted. Our goal is to match dogs with a suitable home/family so that at any time, dogs shown here may already have a potential match. We post dogs as quickly as possible however there may be some not yet pictured. We allow our dogs time to settle in with their foster families so that we can evaluate their health and personality. Special Note: A physical fence will be required for Seger and another family dog may be needed for companionship. Handsome (Bob) Seger is a 2 yr old mellow guy indoors but he loves to run free in a fenced in yard. He loves to play chase and run laps with a resident dog and he happily plays his own games with toys. He is comfortable and confident there. However, his forever home family will need to be a bit patient with him. Due to a lack of socialization, he is shy and wary of people and it may take some time before he fully trusts his humans. But, as he is learning to trust his foster family. He is starting to cuddle and decided that he loves to be petted. Never having been taught any commands, those are a work in progress as well as leash walking. We think he is smart will learn quickly once he is comfortable in his surroundings. He does great in the car and has good house manners. Household noises and machines are unfamiliar and scary for him. At this point, he would thrive in a quiet household with a predictable routine. He is a young collie and is waiting for a family who will help him blossom into the family dog that he was meant to be by giving him the time and effort he needs to get there.
