Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals.We have a monthly pet pantry, provide temporary fostering for emergency situations, have a Senior pets for Seniors program, and more.

Meet Chub – Small in Size, Big in HeartChub is a resilient 3-year-old, 23 lb Beagle mix who’s ready for a fresh start. He came to us from a neglect case and was part of a larger seizure, but you’d never know it from his sweet, playful spirit. Despite his rough past, Chub is incredibly loving and quick to bond with people.He’s house and crate trained, gets along well with other dogs, and would do best in a home with older children due to his strength and energy. True to his Beagle roots, Chubs has a strong prey drive and should not live with cats or small animals.Chub loves toys, enjoys being active, and walks best with a harness—he’s a determined little explorer with a nose that never quits. He will need continued training and clear boundaries, but he’s eager to learn and thrives with consistency.If you're looking for a loyal companion who’s overcome the odds and is ready to shower his new family with love, Chub might just be your perfect match. Neutered and up to date on vaccinations, Chub is available now through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.
