Meet Indiana Bones

_________ B I O ______________  Name: Indiana Bones Size: (Once fully grown) ~Medium range: 26-60 lbs  Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included). Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.   Other:  Neutered Male, Vaccinations current, Microchip, No Cats    Indiana Bones is ready for his next adventure!   Foster Home Feedback  **  NO CATS Foster Feedback 4/28/24: We’ve been fostering Indiana Jones for a short while now and he is such a handsome lover boy. You will fall in love with him the second he cuddles up to you. He loves to wrestle and play with our golden retrievers but can also entertain himself with toys and lay outside and suntan. He is the perfect amount of playful and lazy where I believe he would do well in any household, but he would really love a yard to play in. If adding Indie to a household with other dogs, it is recommended it not be in an apartment because he gets mouthy/barky when he plays with other dogs. Other things about Mr. Indie is he is potty trained (we do let him out often), sleeps like a log at night and prefers to be cuddling you, does well on a leash on walks alone and with other dogs, does great in the car, is not food or toy aggressive, and does great in his kennel besides an occasional bark the first 5 minutes. Whoever adds this boy to their family will be so so lucky as he has completely pulled on our heartstrings.  Building Volunteer Feedback 4/12/24: After meeting Indiana Bones during a noon shift at the shelter, I just knew he was destined to become my new building buddy!  My own foster doesn’t like other dogs so I can’t add Indy to my home, but I have the time to do something with a shelter dog most days.  Indy and I take long walks in area parks, spend time playing in my backyard and yesterday I took him to Runnings to see how he would react to a store and strangers. He did not disappoint!  He was quiet as we strolled down aisles, met new people and took treats nicely.  He rides to these excursions like a champ in my car and walks so nice on leash.    When Indy arrived from the pound he was friendly but jumpy and mouthy and overly excited….but now he has settled down, been neutered and is learning to be a good boy. He is smart and treat motivated and already knows several commands. I just love Indiana Bones and hope he finds a foster or a forever home soon!

Look for other dogs for adoption!
