_________ B I O ______________  Name: Ignatius Size: Medium  range: 26-60  lbs  Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included)  . Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.   Other:  Neutered Male, Vaccinations current, Microchip    Ignatius would love to go exploring with you!   Foster Home Feedback  9/15/25 Volunteer Feedback: Ignatius (Iggy) and I had a nice and relaxing evening during our time together.  He's still working on not being mouthy but is also redirected easily.   He had the zooms for about 5 minutes and then after that, his nose was to the ground sniffing away.  He takes treats very nicely.  Iggy is a sweet boy who just wants to be loved.   9/14/25 Volunteer Feedback: Ignatius is a lovable breeze! I had him on a little road trip to the Iron Range to my parents this weekend and here’s what I know about this friggin ball of love: *He rode 4.5 hours sleeping in the back each way so easily. *He is so easy to walk - doesn’t pull and can totally chill with a slow pace, just wants to sniff sometimes. *He isn’t resource guarding and never begged for food! *He loved meeting neighbors and everyone around. *He was charged by two off-leash dogs when we hiked and he didn’t react to them. *He also didn’t react to dogs barking at him on our walks! *He crated easily when we were gone for a few hours a couple times! *No accidents in the house or crate *He is soooooo funny and cute.  He prances, loves to be pet, and slept at the foot of my bed all night and in the morning snuggled right up to me when I woke up!! *He is just a bit mouthy when he gets excited or jumps but takes redirection or a toy very easily to stop. Then Ignatius also met my 3 and 7 year old nieces last week and was great with them! They followed him to put floaties on his tail and he was totally chill. 9/10/25 Volunteer Feedback: We had a great walk on morning shift. Ignatius was so excited to get out and sniff ALL the things this morning.  His nose was on the ground the entire time.  He did very well at checking in with me when asked.  Very little pulling on the leash and was easily redirected when he did.  Ignatius is a handsome guy that would do great with an active family.    9/4/25 Volunteer Feedback: Ignatius is a smart guy that already knows basic commands like “sit” and “down,”.  He is showing signs of stress as he adjusts to life at the shelter by being a little jumpy and vocal when in his kennel.  He genuinely enjoys being outside and exploring the platform in the back run at the shelter. He is a super sweet and adorable guy who just needs consistent routines, enrichment activities, and gentle exposure to new experiences to gain confidence and thrive. Ignatius is a sensitive soul who just needs an outlet for his energy and reassurance that the world isn’t so scary. 8/25/25 Volunteer Feedback: Ignatius is a social, people-oriented pup who thrives on connection. He forms strong bonds with his humans and is happiest when he’s by your side. Whether you've been gone for five minutes or five hours, Ignatius will greet you with pure joy and those adorable puppy eyes that are impossible to resist. He’s an excellent walker, calm, steady, and never one to pull. Ignatius is also incredibly gentle when taking treats and showing his sweet and respectful nature in every interaction. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will make you feel like the most important person in the world, Ignatius is ready to meet you!
