This sweet gentleman is looking for the perfect mix of couch cuddles and play dates in his next home. Mick is a 10 year old Boxer mix who is well mannered and an excellent listener. Mick loves to be close to his people and is happy to cuddle up on the couch and snuggle in bed (if invited). He has great energy for his age and likes to play with toys and go for daily walks. Mick deserves a family that has time for him. Mick loves to lounge, but it also quite active for his age. A good balance of netflix and chill and walks around the block would be good for this guy.Likes: Snuggles! This guy is the biggest cuddle bug. He loves to curl up with his people. No kids live in his foster home, but he has had no reaction to the neighbor kids. Older considerate kids may be better for him though.Dogs: Yes! Mick currently lives with a lab in his foster home and was previously around a chihuahua mix and did fine. He has not been reactive when encountering other dogs on walks. He likes to play with his lab brother. He can get a little jealous at times, but there have been no issues between the two dogs.Cats: No cats for Mick. He is very interested and will chase and try to catch.Crate trained: Yes!Potty trained: Yes! He will come to you or go to the door when he needs to go out.Health concerns: Mick is on Thyroid and seizure medication that is about ~$20 a month!Adoption fee: $275Our dogs receive heartworm and flea/tick prevention each month. Dogs that have stage 4 dental disease will receive a dental procedure in rescue. We aspirate all lumps and remove those that our veterinary partners suggest removing. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies, distemper, and bordetella), HW test, blood panel, a microchip, and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.
