Adopt An Angel

We are an all volunteer group who's mission is to reduce the numbers of animals euthanized in our area shelters through aggressive adoption and spay/neuter programs. We partner with area shelters, to concentrate on the cats and dogs that have run out of time or have special needs. We move them to a safe haven with private citizens, strive to provide them with any veterinary care they need, and then we find them loving homes. Since 2004, over 11,000 of these previously unwanted animals found their forever homes through our safety net. When one of ours gets adopted, we go and get another.

Meet KIA

WIGGLEBUTT ALERT!!! When Kia wags his tail, he wags the entire back end of his body. Its adorable! Kia is a 7 month old puppy who has an absolutely wonderful temperament. He is playful and so fun. He loves toys and loves other dogs. He has never met a stranger and assumes every dog loves him. I have had him with 3 other dogs and 7 cats. He wants to play with the cats and they sometimes get annoyed. He is wonderful in a crate and sleeps the night through with no accidents. He is very correctable. He would benefit from a fenced in yard and having someone home a lot although being home all day is not a requirement. Poor Kia has been shafted. He was adopted from a shelter as a puppy and spent a few weeks in a home, but then was returned. When he came back he was bigger than all the younger puppies he had to compete with and everyone kept choosing them. He’s just 40 pounds and maybe expected to be a 50 pound dog full grown. He is a wonderful, wonderful dog. Call Jill at (910) 620-3783 to adopt.

Adoption Process
We have a two page application for all potential adopters, then talk over all questions for any red flags and to make sure the adopter and animal is a good fit. Our fees are $60 for cats over 1 year; $60 for kittens; $110 for large dogs; $135 for puppies, and $150 for small dogs
