Meet Murphy

Look at this cutie! Murphy is a wonderful dog in addition to being super handsome. Murphy has fit into his foster home with ease. He is potty trained and a most excellent sleeping buddy. He loves nothing more than being in your lap and will shadow you wherever you go. He likes to take brief walks but is most happy being in your company. Murphy is good with both dogs and cats, whatever their size. When outside he gets alarmed by anything whizzing by him, bikes etc, but settles down again easy enough. No surprise parties for him! He isn't a big barker but seems to have found his voice a bit more now that he feels at home. Murphy's most comfortable with women but it takes him very little time to warm up to men. As in maybe a minute or two. He has a touch of stranger danger and will growl initially, but its just for show... little dog syndrome and all that. Due to this we do not recommend him for a family with small children. Kids may be a little too rambunctious for his little dog nature. We don't know his background but he seems to know some commands and has manners. He's attentive and listens and you'll have a hard time getting anything by him. Murphy is smart for sure and we imagine the skies the limit with what he can be taught. Bottom line, if you're looking for an attached at the hip, best friend forever kind of sidekick, you have found your man!

Look for other dogs for adoption!
