Our dream is that one day, we won't have to.MERCY:An event to be grateful for, because it’s occurrence prevents something unpleasant or provides relief from suffering.RESCUE:Save from a dangerous or distressing situation.HAVEN:A place of safety or refuge.Mercy Rescue Haven is an animal rescue group located in Upstate SC.MRH was founded after the rescue of Mercy, a pit bull mix that was found starving and alone. Mercy passed away 5 months after her rescue due to leukemia, this rescue is to honor her.

Meet Shelton! Breed: aussie/beagle mix. Age: est 6 months (est birthday 5/13/23). Weight: approx 15lbs right now, we estimate 30ish lbs when full grown. Training: crate trained, working on leash and house training. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes. Good with adults/kids? Yes. Personality: shy at first but warms up to be loving, friendly and playful. Loves other dogs and toys. Reason for rescue: Rescue transfer, originally surrendered to Animal control. Shelton is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations and preventatives.
