Meet Octavia – A Golden Girl with a Heart of Gold Octavia is an 11-month-old, 40-pound Golden Retriever mix with a joyful spirit and a gentle soul. This sweet girl is still a puppy at heart—playful, curious, and soaking up all the love and learning that comes her way. Octavia adores other dogs and tends to be submissive in her play, making her a great companion for pups of all personalities. She's crate trained and making great progress with house training, improving every single day. She loves toys, romping with her doggy friends, and is just starting to discover the joy of human affection. You’ll often find her watching TV with curiosity in her foster home—it’s all so new and exciting to her! Octavia is a happy, sensitive girl who would thrive in a home where she has another friendly dog to show her the ropes or a family willing to keep helping her build confidence and trust. Octavia is waiting to meet you!   If you are interested in adopting Octavia, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
