The Animal Protection Society of Durham (APS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been helping animals in our community since 1970, and has managed the Durham County Animal Shelter since 1990. Want a pup who’s cute as a button and just as itty-bitty? I’m a wiggly, excited girl who’ll jump right up into your lap! I can be nervous and appeasing–I might just tip right over on the ground if I feel overwhelmed. It’s pretty adorable, honestly. I love to wiggle and play, explore, and get affection. Treats are good too! I’ll need basic training, calming exercises, a routine, a cozy retreat, and lots of enrichment. You won’t be lonely with me at your side. Take me home today! Kids:  6+, little appeasing, slightly mouthy Dogs:  Rude, controlling; bear hugs, jumps in face, may try to hump. Slow and careful intros with tolerant dogs

Cats: $95 Dogs: $125-$175 Requirements: Government issues ID 18 and older Own home OR live in a place where pets are allowed No past animal about charges Cannot be under the influence when adopting Cannot be adopting the animal as a gift
