Meet Clarence
Clarence's love for back scratches isn't just adorable, it's also scientifically proven to be beneficial! Petting and scratching a dog releases oxytocin, the "love hormone," not just in the dog, but in the human too, promoting bonding and reducing stress for both. So, those back scratches won’t just make Clarence happy; they'll make you happy too! Despite coming to our shelter in rough shape, Clarence defied the odds and pulled through. Initially bashful, he blossoms into a spunky boy with a voice that demands to be heard, especially after a few back scratches. Clarence's true joy comes from the company of other dogs, making him a perfect companion for a home with a furry friend. As for how he feels about cats, well, that's still a mystery to be solved. He dreams of a life indoors with a cozy spot on the couch, surrounded by the warmth of his loving family, where he can bask in the simple pleasures of being spoiled rotten.
