This sweet pittie mix was so hopelessly shut down in his shelter kennel that he was scheduled to be euthanized. He was rescued in the nick of time by We Are Zeus and has blossomed in foster care. He's now ready for his forever home. Desi is one of the most loving and affectionate dogs you will ever meet! He is so connected to his foster people and always on the lookout for new friends. He loves to play, but equally loves curling up next to (or on) you; if you happen to be standing, he'll settle for sitting on your foot. And if you’re really not available, he’s happy to gnaw on a chew toy—he’s connected but not clingy.Desi is house-trained. He is still learning other household manners but making great strides. He doesn't prefer his crate, but is fine being led into it when necessary. He is an active and energetic guy who will need regular exercise. He'd be a great running, walking or hiking buddy. He is perfect on leash.Desi is neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on shots. Please contact [email protected] with questions/interest.
