Black Tie Boston Rescue, Inc

The primary mission of the BTBR is to rescue Boston Terriers, as well as small Boston Terrier mixes where resources permit, from situations of abuse or neglect or from other situation that leave the dogs without an owner, such as from owners who surrender their pets or from animal shelters and other animal welfare organizations. That is our official mission statement. In simple terms, this is a warm, loving group of volunteers that saves Boston Terriers for the love of the breed and the desire to stop the neglected, injured, or abandoned dogs from suffering.

Meet Parker

Parker is an eight-month-old Terrier/Boxer/Pug mix (see his DNA results below).   He was taken into a shelter as a surrender because his owner didn’t want him. They didn’t even give him a name. He was an instant hit with the volunteers who worked hard to get him out of there and into a rescue that would make sure that never happened to him again. He is a sweetheart, loving, a super friendly baby. He has a lot of energy so no small kids because he could knock them down. A furry friend or two would be perfect! He would benefit from someone home often because he does have a little separation anxiety…..he just loves to be with his person all the time. Parker is learning his house manners and does well in his crate. He is currently 22 lbs and not expected to get much bigger, only fill out a bit.    If you think this handsome boy could be a fit for you, apply to adopt https://www.bostonrescueteam.com/info/adoption. Parker is located in Pfafftown, NC.

Adoption Process
We have a set of adoption criteria (such as dogs are inside dogs only, one must be 21 or older to adopt, dogs must never be chained or shocked). We have applicants fill out an adoption application and submit to a veterinary reference check and home visit before adoption. When all steps are completed in this process, they sign an adoption contract and pay the appropriate fees. Fees vary by age of the dog but are all listed on our Petfinder page.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
