Adopt An Angel

We are an all volunteer group who's mission is to reduce the numbers of animals euthanized in our area shelters through aggressive adoption and spay/neuter programs. We partner with area shelters, to concentrate on the cats and dogs that have run out of time or have special needs. We move them to a safe haven with private citizens, strive to provide them with any veterinary care they need, and then we find them loving homes. Since 2004, over 11,000 of these previously unwanted animals found their forever homes through our safety net. When one of ours gets adopted, we go and get another.

Meet Brooke

My name is Brooke and I was rescued from a neglectful place. In spite of that, I love people! I am a very calm, quiet and sweet girl estimated between 3-5 years old. I am midsized and weigh around 35-40 pounds. I love attention and am very affectionate. You will fall in love with me! I was a shelter favorite, but after spending close to 4 months at a local animal shelter, Adopt an Angel thought they could help me and that I certainly paid my homeless dues. I seem to do well with calm dogs my size or larger. I am a little too interested in small dogs or cats. If you are interested in mer, please call Sherry at (910) 523-1254 or Jill at 910-620-3783. You can also come see me at Petco every Sat from 11:30-4.  

Adoption Process
We have a two page application for all potential adopters, then talk over all questions for any red flags and to make sure the adopter and animal is a good fit. Our fees are $60 for cats over 1 year; $60 for kittens; $110 for large dogs; $135 for puppies, and $150 for small dogs
