We cater to senior dogs that have been turned into the shelter or to a veterinarian for for euthanasia but it is not their time yet. We get their medical needs met and if adoptable we adopt them out. If it isn't feasible to have them adopted they stay in our system until it is their time to cross the rainbow bridge.

Meet Petey – A Sweetheart Looking for a Second Chance This adorable 9-year-old, 16-pound Chihuahua mix has just joined the Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue family — and we’re already completely in love. Petey is full of life: playful, affectionate, and absolutely adores children. He’s house-trained, neutered, up to date on his shots, and ready to bring joy and comfort to a lucky home. His journey to us is a bittersweet one. Petey’s loving owner recently went into a nursing home, and sadly, no family members were able to take him in. We require an application filled out with 3 references, vet references and or records on all dogs living in the home. We do a home visit and all persons must be present.
