Rosco is a 12-year-old Shih Tzu who recently came into our care, and we’re giving him the time, love, and medical support he needs to start fresh. While we’re still getting to know him, we can already tell this little guy has been through a lot. He’s understandably scared and unsure, and he’s shown some aggression in the beginning, likely out of fear and confusion. For that reason, we believe Rosco would do best in a calm, experienced home without small children. We’re hopeful that with time, patience, and love, he’ll come out of his shell and learn to trust again. Rosco is not quite ready for adoption just yet—he still needs a full vet check and any medical care that may be required. But if you think you might be the kind of person who can offer him the peaceful retirement he deserves, we’re currently accepting applications. Adoption Process
We require an application filled out with 3 references, vet references and or records on all dogs living in the home. We do a home visit and all persons must be present.
