Welcome Petey! Meet our newest little love, Petey! This sweet 9-year-old, 16-pound Chihuahua mix has just joined the Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue family. Petey is full of life — playful, affectionate, and absolutely adores children. He’s also house-trained and ready to bring joy to any home lucky enough to have him. ✨ Petey’s journey to us is a bittersweet one. His owner recently went into a nursing home and, sadly, no family members were able to take him in. But we promised his person that Petey would be safe and cherished — and we intend to keep that promise. Now it’s our turn to give Petey the best care possible, and that includes a full vet check-up and anything else he needs to stay healthy and happy while we search for the right forever or foster home. Will you help us welcome Petey with open arms and open hearts? Your donations help us provide food, medical care, and comfort to dogs like him — seniors who still have so much love to give. Adoption Process
We require an application filled out with 3 references, vet references and or records on all dogs living in the home. We do a home visit and all persons must be present.
