Meet Faith

Faith is an adorable cream-colored 2 yr old Shih Tzu who weighs 9 lbs.  Faith is an active and athletic Shih Tzu. She is quick and will dart for an open door, so her adoptive home needs to be prepared to manage a young dog inside and around outside doorways.  She gets along very nicely with other dogs and could have another dog around her size (not over 20lbs) in the home, but she could also be an only dog. Faith is friendly and sweet with people and dogs and eager to please. She is very food-motivated and attentive. She is doing well on housetraining and is reliably crate-trained. WE REQUIRE AN ALL-ADULT HOME WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD FOR FAITH’S ADOPTIVE HOME.  The other dog in the home cannot be over 20 lbs.  The secure fence must be 4ft or higher, gaps no larger than 1 1/2 inches, which is attached to the home, this is required to adopt from Hart-2-Heart Rescue.  An invisible fence, enclosed patio or terrace, temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing. No exceptions.  The adoption range for this dog is limited to NC, SC, VA and East TN. There is an application process and adoption fee. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, North Carolina to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing. Adoption Fee: $500
