Meet Boden
Name / Breed / Age: Boden, Mini Australian shepherd mix, Puppy Personality Traits: Happy go lucky, Curious, The Class Clown. Likes / Dislikes: Boden loves belly rubs and crinkle toys. No major dislikes yet. Health and behavior history: Up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and will be spayed/neutered between 4-7 months. Clean bill of health from the PIPs Vet!Meet Boden!!Boden is a fluffy ball of curiosity and love. He is just adorable as can be and the happiest little floof there ever was. Boden is happy to play solo or with a fellow canine companion. He is an energetic boy but he still plays well with others. He is a good pup and doesn't make much of a fuss when its time to go in his pen or crate. One special thing about Boden is that he has small eye, or microphthalmia, a congenital condition where an eye is smaller than normal. He can probably see some shadows with that eye but how much or little he can see with that eye is unknown. Boden can see out of his other eye, and despite a few bumps here and there when he is first getting the lay of the land, he gets around pretty easily. Luckily for Boden, his hearing is intact and he plays and acts just like any other normal puppy his age. Boden is working on his crate and potty training but will need continued training in his new home to complete his training.
Adoption Process
Once we receive your application an adoption counselor will take a look and reach out with any questions.
The team will check personal, vet references and check with your landlord if applicable. Your adoption counselor will then set up a time to talk with you and your family (or anyone else involved in the adoption process in your home). This call is a good time to ask any questions you have.
Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster of the PIP(s) you are interested in. From start to finish, this process can take anywhere from a few days to over a week (so please be patient!). If everything goes well and you and the foster agree that the PIP you want to adopt is a good fit, we will then finalize the adoption.
Adoption fees are $325 for adults and $375 for puppies. All dogs will be up to date on age appropriate vaccines and spayed / neutered if old enough. If not old enough adopters can come back to our vet to have it covered in fee. It must be done by the time the dog is 6 months old.
