Meet Tinkerbell This tiny 4-month-old Maltese may be small in size, but her story is already huge in heart. Tinkerbell came to us as a breeder surrender because she was born with a Grade 4 heart murmur. The breeder’s plan? Euthanasia. But thankfully, our fearless leader Terri—unlike Nancy Reagan—just can’t say “no.” And thank goodness for that. Tinkerbell is NOT available for adoption at this time. She is safe and sound in a loving foster home, where she’s being closely monitored as we prepare for the next steps in her care. Our priority now is getting Tinkerbell evaluated by a veterinary cardiologist. These appointments aren’t cheap, and she’ll likely need ongoing treatment. Adoption Process
We require an application filled out with 3 references, vet references and or records on all dogs living in the home. We do a home visit and all persons must be present.
