Candy

Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue inc

We cater to senior dogs that have been turned into the shelter or to a veterinarian for for euthanasia but it is not their time yet. We get their medical needs met and if adoptable we adopt them out. If it isn't feasible to have them adopted they stay in our system until it is their time to cross the rainbow bridge.

Meet Candy

Medical Foster Only-Raleigh NC   We were hoping for better news, but sadly, we’ve learned that the mass found during Candy’s recent vet visit is cancerous — and after consulting with a surgeon, it’s been determined that it’s inoperable. Now we’re turning to you, our amazing community, with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits. Candy needs a hospice foster home in the Raleigh, NC area — someone who is home during the day, has no other pets, and can provide a quiet, loving environment where she can be cherished for however long she has left. Candy deserves to feel safe and adored, with soft blankets, gentle hands, and peaceful days. We know it takes a special person to open their home to a hospice pup, but we also know the love shared in that time is deep and meaningful beyond measure. If you can help, or know someone who might be that angel for Candy, please reach out or submit a foster application here: https://rainbowbridgerescue.org/applications/ We can’t change the diagnosis, but with your help, we can give Candy the comfort and dignity she so deeply deserves.

Adoption Process
We require an application filled out with 3 references, vet references and or records on all dogs living in the home. We do a home visit and all persons must be present.
